We are a proudly South Australian family business, operating for over 30 years. Our story began in 1984, and is based on hard work, lofty values, strategic thinking and inspiration. As an accomplished auditor for the United Nations, Mr Shahin first sought labor as an accountant. Obvious as the BP Woodville Park Motors, each son soon joined the administration of the business and Peregrine soon grew. To this day, the same family based, meticulous and sustainable values remain a hallmark of Peregrine and underpin each and every decision. So we are here to make their lives easier. To allow them to quickly snatch a quality treat. To surprise them when they least expect it. To put a smile on their faces without telling a joke. To replace time spent looking for the cheapest, with the satisfaction of value. We are a segment of their community and we are all proudly South Australian. In the end, it’s not only what we do that’s important, it’s the way that we do it that keeps them future back. At OCR we produce thousands of South Australians with a deposit to labor each year. We yield the essential training, which gives our employees the skills to further their professional careers. Our focus on developing our employees has been a big success. Some of our team members in store have progressed through stores in to our Head Office. We are one of South Australia’s largest private companies and at the heart of our business is the OCR team. With over 2,800 staff across more than 135 stores and our head office, this ensures our customers receive great service, distinguished products and whole convenience. Our win is thanks to the contribution and support of committed team members over many years, marvelous local suppliers and the community around each of our stores.
